Hangtown Branch and Unit 275 will be celebrating their 33rd Anniversary on Saturday 9 July 2011. No Host Cocktails will be at 1500 and dinner at 1600. The menu will consist of Roast Pork, vegetable, Salad, French Bread and Dessert. Reservations are a MUST, in order that we have ample food for everyone. The cost will be $8.00 per person. Deadline for Reservations is Wednesday, 6 July 2011. The Branch and Unit will be awarding Continuous Service Pins for those Shipmates and Ladies who are entitled to them for the year 2011.

Branch and Unit 275 will be hosting an Awards Dinner for the local winners of the Americanism Essay Contest on Saturday, 30 April 2011. Social at 1500 (3PM) and Dinner at 1600 (4PM) at the Veterans Memorial Building, 130 Placerville Drive, Placerville, CA.

Hangtown Branch 275 has its monthly breakfast on the 1st Sunday of the month from 7 A.M. to 11 A.M. Menu consist of Eggs to order, Biscuits and Gravy, Hashbrowns, Sausage, Ham, Hot Cakes, Coffee Juice and Toast. The cost is only $5.00 per adult and $2.00 for kids 7 and under. The Public is invited to attend.

The Branch and Unit will be hosting the Annual Past Presidents Dinner on Saturday 19 February 2011. Social Hour (No Host Cocktails) will be at 1500 and Dinner will be served at 1600. We are once again proud to announce that the dinner wil be catered by Back Forty Texas BBQ who is known for their fabulous food and sauce. Since this event has grown in the number of attendees and the fact that it will be catered, it is imperative that reservations are a must and held to a strict deadline. We will be acknowledging all Past Presidents e.g. Branch, Unit, Regional and National that are in attendance. The Reservation Form is included in the January 2011 Branch and Unit Newsletter. The Branch and Unit will be having our Annual Christmas Dinner on Saturday, 10 December 2011. Social Hour will begin at 1500 and the dinner at 1600. The Menu will consist of Ham with all the trimmings. The cost of this event will be $5.00 per person. This year we will be collecting a new unwrapped toy for the "Toys for Tots" as we have done in the past years. The Unit will also be continuing their food drive for the Food Bank of El Dorado County. The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, 7 December 2011.

The Branch and Unit will be having our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Social Hour will begin at 1500 and the Dinner will be at 1600. The Menu will consist of Turkey with all the trimmings. The cost for the event will be $5.00 per person. Deadline for reservations is Wednesday 9 November 2011. The Auxiliary will be collecting can goods for the Food Bank of El Dorado County.

Hangtown Branch and Unit 275 will be conducting our Annual River Ceremony on Monday 30 May 2011. We will be meeting at the American River in Coloma at 0730 (7 A.M.)for coffee and donuts and the ceremony is scheduled to begin at 0800 (8 A.M.). We will meet in the Parking Lot just west of the replica of Sutter's Mill. We would like to see a good turn out for this ceremony. The public is invited to attend. At 1100 (11 A.M.) the American Legion will be conducting their ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in Placerville.
